Here's a simple tuna casserole recipe:
Ingredients:
2 cans of tuna (drained)
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 cup of frozen peas
1 cup of cooked pasta (like egg noodles or macaroni)
1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar works well)
1/2 cup of milk
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs for topping
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna, cream of mushroom soup, frozen peas, cooked pasta, milk, and half of the cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Add Topping: If using, sprinkle breadcrumbs and the remaining cheese on top.
Bake: Put the dish in the oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
Serve: Let it cool for a few minutes, then enjoy!
This casserole is hearty and perfect for a quick meal.
